Red gingham button-front mini: the princess seam moved to the bust point
Sleeveless A-line mini with a high boat neck, princess seams, eight buttons down the centre front and small slits at the hem.
Front as in the photo; the back is derived.
What was wrong
The first automatic reading described a U-neck, a slanted button row and an hourglass shape, with no princess seams or slits. After a hand correction, a review found the princess seam 6 cm outside the bust point, so the bust shaping sat in the wrong place.
What changed
In the shared engine, the princess seam carries the bust shaping close to the bust point, the hem meets every seam at a right angle with the flare shared evenly, and the cut-on facing follows the neckline. The sewing guide names each stretch of a curved seam that has to be eased in.
Cutting pattern, size EU36: four pieces, the front centre with its button lap and facing.
Result
Digital review passed on 4 October. Re-checked on 10 October after later shared fixes; the largest change was 1.7 mm. Also checked in sizes EU34 to EU44; only EU36 is offered as a download. Every step from photo to PDF is in the blog post how a pattern is made: one dress from photo to PDF.

The back, which the photo does not show, the skirt length and the fabric are assumptions.
