Pink bow wrap mini with a pleated underskirt: its own skirt length, and pleats that work
A similar wrap-and-bow dress read from a mirror selfie: the bow and opening on the left hip, a shorter skirt and a sunray-pleated cream underskirt.
Front as in the photo, seen from the front rather than in the mirror; the back is derived.
What was wrong
The first version copied the other wrap dress's pattern byte for byte: the skirt was 11–13 cm too long, the mirror was read the wrong way round and the cream underskirt was not pleated. Later rounds found a pleating recipe that could not work and a bow tail that hung below the hem.
What changed
The hem tool now measures against the hanging arm on a busy background, so the skirt length comes from this photo: the hem sits 15.4 cm above the knee. The bow and the opening are on the wearer's left. The underskirt is a slice of the same cone as the overskirt, and the guide gives a pleating recipe that works: polyester or nylon chiffon or georgette, side seams sewn before pleating, sent to a pleating service in one piece.
Cutting pattern, size EU36: twelve pieces, among them two underskirt sectors for sunray pleating.
Result
Digital review passed on 7 October, in the sixth round. Re-checked on 10 October after later shared fixes, with no change to its shape. Also checked in sizes EU34 to EU44; only EU36 is offered as a download.
Still open
The back, which the photo does not show, and the fabric are assumptions; the sunray pleats need a pleating service.
