Privacy

The numbers you type and the patterns never leave your device. They are stored in your browser's local storage and the pattern math runs inside your browser (WebAssembly). stitchu runs no analytics, sets no cookies, and requires no account.

The stitch wall is anonymous. When you sew a stitch or leave a note, only the stitch coordinates, your thread color, the note text (max 80 characters) and a timestamp are stored. No name, no account, no identifier tied to you. Your IP address is used transiently for rate limiting (abuse prevention) and is not stored with your stitches or notes.

Photo analysis (when you use the photo path): your photo is sent over HTTPS to the stitchu server, forwarded to an AI service (Anthropic) for garment analysis, and the result is returned to you. Your photos are not stored.

Your rights (GDPR/KVKK): since your data lives in your own browser, you can view and erase it yourself at any time, delete patterns in the closet, or clear this site's data in your browser settings to erase everything. For anything else, write to us.
