This page documents the earlier specification-based drafting endpoint. The current photo-and-description workflow uses a separate reader and graph compiler. Generated patterns are drafts: computational checks do not establish fabric behaviour, fit or readiness for cutting.

Coordinates are in millimetres. Detected drafting failures return 422 undraftable. A successful response is not a guarantee of fit or sewability; review the construction and make a toile before cutting final fabric.
The drafting runs on the engine itself, not a model call. Your margin doesn't erode per request.
Inspect the generated pieces and construction instructions together. Engine checks and physical sewing validation are separate.
Send only measurements; nothing about your customer's body is stored or logged.
Draft a real pattern against the live endpoint, the same call your product would make. No key needed for this demo (rate-limited).

One design, a whole size chart. POST /api/grade drafts a spec across an EU size range, every size from the same engine, so a seller gets a full run without maintaining grade rules.

stitchu is in beta, so pricing comes later; right now a handful of early partners are being onboarded for free. The engine has no per-call AI cost, so pricing can stay low when it lands. Tell us your volume and what you're building.
A solo Etsy or indie pattern shop. One spec → the eight published sizes (EU34–EU48) via /api/grade.
A growing brand drafting at volume. Priority support during the build.
High-volume or white-label. Send your numbers below and it gets shaped with you.
Rivals charge $34–49/mo for a photo-to-pattern tool and publish no accuracy proof. stitchu publishes the benchmark and runs the engine at zero marginal cost; beta is free during the build.
Studios, indie labels and pattern shops, send your volume and you'll be set up.
