Sky blue and white gingham, a wide neckline edged all round with a 5 cm gathered ruffle and a little bow, short puff sleeves that end in ruffles and a back shirred with elastic thread. It pulls on over the head, with no zip.

Before cutting
Check the silhouette, length and ease in a toile. The fabric’s stretch and drape were not measured. The software checks do not show how it fits a person.
The back is shirred with elastic thread. How much it draws in depends on the thread and the fabric, which were not measured, so shirr a scrap first and check that the toile still pulls over the head.
