Blue and pink check belted mini
Blue and pink checks, a wide square neck, a sleeveless bodice shaped with darts, a gently flared skirt, a centre-back zip and a separate fabric belt through two loops.
How it was made
This design started as a written description, not a photo or an existing garment. stitchu read the description, drew the front and back views, drafted the pattern and checked the pieces in software. Nothing has been sewn yet: these are digital drafts.

Before cutting
Check the silhouette, length and ease in a toile. The fabric’s stretch and drape were not measured. The software checks do not show how it fits a person.
The belt is cut to the waist plus 40 mm ease and a 150 mm tail for the knot, so its ends are short. Add length before cutting if you want longer ties.
