Good for
- t-shirts
- t-dresses
- pull-on skirts
- leggings
- unstructured comfortable styles
Not for
- structured tailored designs
- our current woven blocks — knit patterns need negative ease, use woven fabric for Stitchu patterns for now
Common mistakes
- Sewing with a plain straight stitch — seams pop; use a narrow zigzag (1-1.5 mm)
- Using a regular needle — use ballpoint (75/11 light, 80/12 medium)
- Hemming immediately — let the garment hang 24 hours first
- Sliding the iron instead of pressing — stretches the fabric
