Red gingham tie-front puff-sleeve top
Red and white gingham, a V neck, elbow-length puff sleeves gathered into narrow cuffs and a high-hip hem; three pairs of ties close the lapped front, with no zip or buttons.
How it was made
This design started as a written description, not a photo or an existing garment. stitchu read the description, drew the front and back views, drafted the pattern and checked the pieces in software. Nothing has been sewn yet: these are digital drafts.

Before cutting
Check the silhouette, length and ease in a toile. The fabric’s stretch and drape were not measured. The software checks do not show how it fits a person.
Each front runs 35 mm past the centre front and the ties are cut as separate strips. Check the lap and the tie positions in a toile before you cut your fabric.
